Who’s visiting OTD?

“We are the Norwegian Continental Shelf” has been Offshore Technology Days’ slogan since the start in 1999. Over 27.000 visitors in OTD2014 is in itself impressive. But how many of these are interesting for your business?

Overall figures show that both oil companies and service companies are heavily represented. Operation/Maintenance and Engineering/Projects account for over 43 per cent of the visitors, while Drilling & Well and Subsea add another 26 per cent. These categories represent more than 2/3 of all OTD 2014 visitors.

Operation and Maintenance is the largest single group, with more than 5,000 visitors. The subcategories show that four out of five work within technical disciplines, broadly dominated by executive magement and project engineers.

Engineering and Projects is the the second largest group with 4,600 visitors, mostly from Modifications and Offshore projects. The group is dominated by Project engineers, Sales and marketing and Executive management.

Drilling and Well is the third largest group with 4,000 visitors, with Drilling and Well operations accounting for more than 80 per cent. In the subcategories Business development is largest, followed by Project engineers, Executive management and Procurement with more or less equal shares.

Oil and Gas Development is the fourth largest group with 3,300 visitors, more than half of them from Upstream, and with Project engineers and Procurement accounting for more that 70 per cent.

Subsea is the last group with slightly less than 2,000 visitors, mainly from SURF and Subsea services. Executive management and project engineers dominated this category.

We have attended OTD since the beginning in 1999, and has always prioritized to exhibit at OTD.
It is actually the only exhibition we are attending.
