Networking
The combination professional content and social gathering is important in order to do business in Norway. Therefore the networking part of OTD is very important.
At OTD 2011 you will get the opportunity of participating in different networking events. For three entire evenings you will be able to enjoy fantastic culinary experiences, music and entertainment provided by top Norwegian and International artists. The events have a high quality in general, and attract between 250 and 2300 participants.

OTD OPENING CEREMONY
We are the NCS - Opening Ceremony is a network event for exhibitors and anyone related to the oil-, gas- and energy industry.
Offshore Media Group and partners invite exhibitors and others to a networking event in a quiet environment the evening before the OTD show starts. Participants will be offered food and drinks. Everything has been facilitated to ensure a great networking event, and a calm start to a busy week. We are the NCS - Icebreaker was first held in 2009, and was a great success. Around 750 persons from the oil-, gas- and energy industry was gathered there.

More than 2,300 guests will attend the 11th Octoberfest, a traditional Bavarian event.
The Octoberfest is the legendary party on the evening between the two exhibition days, and is reserved for exhibitors and invited guests only. In a festive atmosphere the participants will be served beer, traditional German food and excellent entertainment. However, the program is as always a secret.

For the sixth consecutive year there will be a concert marking the end of OTD. This is where you meet old friends, colleagues and your new contacts for the legendary ending to OTD.
