New business opportunities in the energy market
The Norwegian energy industry covers both the oil industry and land-based activities.
Annual invested several hundred billion, and both technological and economic approach industries converge. Which opportunities this provides for Norwegian suppliers is the main topic of the OTD Suppliers Conference (OSC) in Bergen 13-14. October 2010.
The conference is held in direct connection to this year's big oil exhibition in Bergen; Offshore Technology Days (OTD). Over 200 stands have been sold (full capacity), and over 10,000 visitors are expected. Conference participants will also be ferried over the Puddefjord to the exhibition and will be invited to Vorspiel in the exhibition area and later in the evening on the 13th to participate with 1800 others in the legendary Oktoberfest in Haukelandshallen.
The program for the conference is threefold. Initially, the key personnel from oil companies give their views on the future, then a session where key stakeholders from the energy markets highlight the activities and business opportunities. The whole day 2 is devoted to the central main suppliers and their business potential with the rest of the industry.
The participating companies Statoil, Shell, Petoro, Agder Energi, Lyse, Aker Solutions, Technologies FMC, Aibel, Siemens and ABB acquires annual goods and services to tens of billion annually.
The conference is designed for suppliers of both businesses. In particular, we invite general management, purchasing agents and contract managers and key technical personnel who want to know more about the major players' purchasing needs, technology directions and contract strategy.
The conference is in Norwegian and is held in cooperation with the Norwegian Industry.
