The exhibition centre, "Arenum messesenter", is located five minutes by car from the city centre, towards Bergen south, just west of Danmarksplass.
Below are some suggestions on how to get to the exhibition centre and on parking.
Parking
The best option is to park at Marineholmen, just a stone throw from the exhibition centre. The easiest way to get from the parking area to the fair centre is to take the legendary OTD Ferry.
You can also find parking outside the exhibition centre, but experience shows that these parking spaces are filled quickly.
OTD Ferry
Last year, the legendary OTD ferry was presented to OTD visitors with great success. The ferry transported around 2,000 people during the two days the exhibition lasted. The OTD Ferry was previously transporting tourists on sightseeing trips in Amsterdam's channels. The OTD Ferry goes directly from Marineholmen to the exhibition centre. The crossing time takes approximately three minutes. The vessel can take up to 80 people.
OTD Bus
We will set up shuttle buses from Olav Kyrres gate (at the corner of Radisson SAS Hotel Norge & TGI Friday's) to Hall A at Arenum Messesenter. The buses will depart approximately every 15 minutes. For a complete listing, please use this link (comming soon).
Tram
The tram, Bybanen, start operating in the summer of 2010. The tram stops at ”Strømmen”, five minutes walk from the exhibition centre.
Taxi
The nearest taxi stop will be outside Hall A at Arenum. You can order a taxi at the servicedesk in Hall A.
Experience:
Experience shows that the OTD Bus is the best way to get to Arenum messenter. It runs to and from the Arenum Exhibition Centre approximately every 15 minutes. If you want to drive to the exhibition center, we recommend parking at Marineholmen and cross with the OTD Ferry. We also recommend that those who live in hotels in the town centre to take the new tram.
